There is no gender in manufacturing, only excellence

In 2005, just graduated from school, Huang Xiaoyun chose to join Baoyi Group, from the most basic valve assembler. Faced with the question of ‘manufacturing is a man's job’, she proved with practical actions: in the pursuit of excellence on the road, there has never been a difference between the sexes.

Over the past 20 years, she has always been sticking to the production line, tracking the improvement of equipment manufacturing process in real time, and solving the process technical problems of system process equipment. Although her work position is constantly changing, her persistent pursuit of technology is always the same.

Every technological breakthrough is a self-breakthrough

In 2021, Huang Xiaoyun led the team to carry out research on PE pipe connection gas valve technology. In the face of the design, manufacturing and process ‘neck’ problem, she led the team to repeated tests, and finally overcame the key technology, forming independent intellectual property rights and core technology. This innovative technology not only won the third prize of National Petroleum and Chemical Industry Scientific and Technological Progress, but also brought significant economic benefits to the enterprise.

Over the past 20 years, she has been responsible for and participated in more than 20 process technology researches above the provincial level, and has obtained more than 30 national patents and 2 software copyrights. She presided over the valve process technology innovation, but also in the Sino-Russian natural gas transmission pipeline, west-east gas pipeline and other key national construction projects play an important role.

Passing on the torch is a responsibility, but also a spiritual inheritance

While climbing the technical peak, Huang Xiaoyun never forgets to cultivate young talents. She insisted on technology transfer, trained 6 clamp technicians, 2 senior engineers in electromechanics, and set up a 10-member skill team, which has strengthened the talent foundation for the high-quality development of Baoyi.
